This map helps you compare Spanish cities using a single composite index, built from multiple social, economic and environmental indicators. The tool aims to aid your decision of travelling or migrating to a Spanish city. Only the most relevant cities were included, because of timewise limitations.

📊 How the index works

Data Processing: Variables from trustworthy sources are normalized to a common 0–1000 scale, allowing for fair comparison across different types of data.
Scoring depends on the nature of the criteria:

Proportional:
Higher values (like life expectancy or income) receive better scores.
Inversely Proportional:
Higher values (like crime or pollution) receive worse scores.
The platform weights your selected preferences to generate a personalized index, which is then visualized through the size and color of points on the map.
